艺术家介绍:
莱纳（Fritz Reiner，1888-1963）是著名的美籍匈牙利指挥家，他带领芝加哥交响乐团的十年，使其恢复元气，跻身于世界顶尖乐团之流，培养出了宏大辉煌的（尤以铜管闻名）的“莱纳之声”。
莱纳指挥的音乐范畴非常广，从巴洛克到一些近代都是他的拿手好戏。不过他的录音还是以俄国、东欧民族乐派的作品为人称道。这张叫做“节庆日”的唱片，就是收集了几位俄国国民乐派作曲家:柴可夫斯基、卡巴列夫斯基、格林卡、鲍罗丁等人广受欢迎的音乐会的集锦。
